Dynamic triple-threat Derion Kendrick continued a dominant senior campaign on a dominant South Pointe team Friday night.

The Stallions, led by Kendrick at QB, are ranked No. 3 in the Southeast and fifth nationally by USA TODAY, clinching its region on a 10-0 run overall with a 41-27 win over York.

Kendrick rushed for over 100 yards in a second game this season, going 145 yards with two touchdowns in 13 carries – and completed 10-of-14 passes for 170 yards and two more scores.

The 6-foot-1 receiver prospect has scored 30 total touchdowns as a senior, totaling 21 passing and nine rushing.

Kendrick has completed 72.2 percent of his passes this season for over 1,800 yards (1,843) and tallied nearly 700 rushing yards (678).

Fellow Clemson commit BT Potter didn’t notch a field goal Friday, but his kickoffs continue to impress:

Darnell Jefferies – 3-star Newton (GA) DT

The 6-foot-4 and 275-pound DT prospect delivered a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown to put Newton up 15-0 in the first quarter on its way to a 37-0 win over Shiloh (Ga.).

The formula to the score was pretty simple.

“I was surprised to see the ball coming my way,” Jefferies told the Gwinnett Daily Post. “Once I had it, I just took off for the end zone.”

Quick hits: South Gwinnett’s Justin Mascoll was on the wrong side of a shutout in a 14-0 battle with 7A No. 2-ranked Archer. Archer was held to 63 yards in the second half and one offensive touchdown over the game…DT prospect Josh Belk and Lewisville shut out Great Falls, 54-0, where his defense forced five turnovers and limited their opponent to 15 total yards…Jake Venables and Daniel earned a playoff bid with a 24-7 win over Pickens…4-star 2019 safety prospect Joseph Charleston and Milton moved to 7-2 with a 34-10 win over Lambert.
