Four-star 2020 safety Chris Thompson Jr. (Duncanville, Tx.) announced a Clemson offer late on Sunday evening.

"After a great conversation with @CoachConn, I’m blessed beyond measures to receive an offer from Clemson University!" Thompson posted on Twitter.

Thompson was named a junior All-American by Maxpreps on a Duncanville defense that allowed less than 10 points per game with six shutouts.

Thompson has now picked up a couple dozen offers, including in-state Texas and Texas A&M as well as Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, LSU and Stanford among more Power 5 schools.
