His top 10 schools were Oklahoma, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Ohio State, Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Texas A&M.

Cooper has over 30 national offers including Arkansas, Auburn, Bowling Green, Clemson, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Syracuse, and Wisconsin. He grew up a fan of Missouri.
