2018 3-star defensive lineman Darnell Jeffries from Covington, GA (Newton HS) was one of about 80 recruits on campus this weekend and while there Jeffries picked up an offer from the Tigers on Saturday.

"It was a great trip," Jeffries told TigerNet. "I love the new facilities and the entire coaching staff."

Jeffries will no doubt be rising fast in recruiting rankings as he already has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Notre Dame, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
