Wallace's message to quarterbacks: "Keep trying us" |
Clemson defensive back
K'Von Wallace spoke to the media Monday following his team's hard-fought 28-26 victory over Texas A&M on Saturday night.
Wallace has some confident words for any team that thinks that Clemson's secondary can be exploited in the future. "Keep trying us. We are a secondary that is hungry who wants the ball in the air and wants those opportunities to make a couple of picks," Wallace said. "I left at least three picks out there. I love quarterbacks that throw the ball and not just run, run all day. If any team feels like they can expose us on a deep ball, I feel like they should go ahead and try it. I feel like we also have the best secondary. If you feel like we got exposed, just try us." He had five tackles including the interception on the two-point conversion and chased down receiver Quartney Davis for the strip on the one-yard line that preserved the road win. Two huge plays for Wallace on the day.
Clemson receiver Diondre Overton also spoke to the media on Monday:
