The future is bright for Clemson basketball! #ClemsonGrit A sweet season comes to an end for the #Clemson basketball team. They lose to Kansas 80-76 in the Sweet 16. Tigers were picked to finish 4th in the ACC...nice job by @Coach_Brownell and his guys. @wis10 Incredibly proud to be a Clemson Basketball Alum. This season was truly something special. Congratulations to the players, the staff, and the program for a special run! #ClemsonGRIT The freakin definition of #ClemsonGrit fighting till the very end. Great season Clemson! One to remember. Gabe DeVoe is a baller. 1. @GabeDeVoe10 is unreal Gabe DeVoe sets a Clemson record for points in an NCAA Tournament game with 31. (Dale Davis prev. had 26 vs. LaSalle in 1990). He is also the first Clemson player to post three consecutive 20-point games in an NCAA Tournament.#BobbyBuckets#ClemsonGRIT pic.twitter.com/zKkuEQHSNj Proud of yal??made history ain’t nobody can take that from yal?????? I mean hey, predicted 13th place in the ACC and ending up in the Sweet 16... not too bad if you ask me ¯\_(?)_/¯ @ClemsonMBB @Coach_Brownell words cannot express how proud I am of the team, coaches and support staff! You all represented Clemson University in tremendous fashion this season!!! You showed everyone what #ClemsonGRIT truly means!!! #Tigerpride!!! They didn’t win but @ClemsonMBB showed a ton of #ClemsonGRIT. Kept fighting till the end. Tough lost for the @ClemsonMBB. Proud of the guys for fighting until the very end and showing that Clemson grit. We will be back again next year and results will be different.#ProudAlum We are so proud of our Tigers for such an incredible season and for representing Clemson University and the state of South Carolina so well. We're grateful for the support we've received all season long. Plenty for the Clemson Tigers to hold their heads high about- that was one heck of a comeback in Omaha. Here is Sports4 video of their final walk off the court, followed off by Magic Johnson. pic.twitter.com/Vh4Eohk2jt Gutty effort by Clemson but Jayhawks win 80-76 /heading to elite 8- @CoachBillSelf now 13-2 vs @theACC in his tenure at Kansas. Unbelievably proud of @GabeDeVoe10 ! You will be severely missed brother. Quite a final game for Gabe DeVoe with 31 points. Most points by Clemson player in his final game as a Tiger since Larry Nance had 34 vs. Temple in Nit game on March 12 1981 DeVoe first Clemson guard with at least 30 points and 9 rebounds in same game since Will Solomon had 43 and 9 vs. Virginia on 1 15 2000.
2. @ClemsonMBB should be proud, y’all exceeded expectations!
Great season @ClemsonMBB!! Can’t wait until next year! #ClemsonGRIT ??????
