SC congressman loses wager, wears Bear Bryant fedora

by - Assoc. Editor -

U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina had a fun rivalry wager with Rep. Terri Sewell of Alabama on the outcome of the Clemson-Alabama game in the 2018 Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Of course, Duncan's team lost 24-6 and he had to wear a Bear Bryant houndstooth fedora and buy her entire office Chick-fil-A for lunch.

"After Alabama’s big win over Clemson this month, @RepJeffDuncan has come through on his end of our wager," Sewell posted on Twitter. "Here he is wearing the classic Bear Bryant hat, and today he’s treating our office to lunch. Thanks Jeff for being such a good sport!"

Congrats on Duncan for making good on his wager despite having to wear the funny hat.
