Report: Former Clemson WR requests trade |
One Clemson 'WRU' member may be on the move soon.
NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday night that Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant "recently requested a trade," citing that "his teammates and coaches are well aware that he's unhappy." Bryant seemed to respond to the report on Twitter later that night: Big win today and tomorrow right back to work tomorrow I am happy to be a steeler and can't wait to reach number 7 this year. It's been a disappointing return for Bryant from a year-long suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. Bryant was targeted only three times with two catches for 27 yards in Pittsburgh's 19-13 win at Kansas City Sunday. He has 15 total catches in 31 targets for 204 yards and a score in six games this season. Around a couple suspensions, Bryant has acquired a reputation as a playmaker on the next level, averaging 15.3 yards per reception with six touchdowns in 2015 and 21.1 per reception with eight touchdowns as a rookie in 2014. Sources: #Steelers playmaking WR Martavis Bryant recently requested a trade. His teammates and coaches are well aware that he’s unhappy.
