Phil Steele projects Clemson in CFB playoff |
College Football analyst Phil Steele released his annual college football preview magazine and had the following CFB playoff projections with Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Washington making the cut.
This is interesting news for the Tigers as this was the same field two years ago when they destroyed Ohio State and went on to defeat Alabama in a thrilling 35-31 game to win their first National Championship since 1981. With regards to overall seeding, Clemson was Steele's No. 2 overall seed with No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Washington, and No. 5 Georgia. His Heisman pick was Wisconsin sophomore running back Jonathan Taylor who rushed for 1847 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence was featured on the cover of the preview magazine: It’s here! ?????? Always a welcome day when @philsteele042 CFB preview arrives.
