Guz Malzahn still hurt by Clemson loss |
Clemson defeated a tough Auburn team 14-6 back on Sept. 9 in Death Valley and it was another triumph for Dabo Swinney against a SEC foe.
Since that loss, the two teams have combined to win eight games combined and both teams are currently in the Top 10 in national polls. However, Auburn coach Guz Malzahn still has issues hearing the name Clemson. "When you bring up that name (Clemson), it hurts to hear that," Malzahn shared on Tuesday during his press conference via Al.com. "I know that it motivates our players and coaches." Auburn wide receiver is still sad about losing the ACC-SEC matchup. "I was pretty pissed, because that was a game I wanted," receiver Ryan Davis said. "That was a game I feel like, these last two years, we let go and slip away."
