Three Tigers made first-team and four were selections overall in Sporting News' All-American team on Tuesday.

ACC Player of the Year Travis Etienne was tabbed first-team running back after rushing for 1,464 yards and 21 scores in only 176 carries.

Dynamic inside-outside duo Clelin Ferrell and Christian Wilkins picked up first-team honors on the defensive side. Ferrell won the Ted Hendricks Award (nation's best DE) and ACC Defensive Player of the Year with 10.5 sacks and 17.5 TFL.

Clemson senior offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt rounds out the selections as a second-team offensive tackle.

Sporting News is the fourth of the five All-American lists that decide "consensus" honors (AP/FWAA/AFCA/Walter Camp the others). The Nagurski, Bednarik and Outland award finalist Wilkins has made first-team in all four unveiled so far with the AFCA yet to go. Hyatt and Wilkins are seeking back-to-back seasons as consensus All-Americans (first or second team) and Etienne is seeking his first consensus bid.
