Deshaun Watson ranked in NFL Top 100 countdown |
One of the top exciting players in the NFL is certainly Houston Texans quarterback
Deshaun Watson. Despite only starting seven games his rookie season, NFL Network ranked him No. 50 overall in their NFL Top 100 player countdown.
Before the early November injury, Watson led the NFL in passing touchdowns (19) with 1,699 passing yards and also 269 rushing yards and two more touchdowns last season. He won AFC offensive player of the month for October and was named to the All-Rookie team by NFL.com. “I’m very excited,” Watson said recently. “Just the potential that I have. And the work that I’ve been putting in. And just the knowledge of playing football and being a professional quarterback. There’s so much more I can learn and will learn, especially over these nine weeks and leading into training camp and into the season. “I only played six and a half games last year. I’ve only had a sniff of what I can learn, so next year will still be new experiences and new opportunities for myself to grow. I’m just looking forward to the new things I will learn and will be able to see.” "@deshaunwatson is one of the most incredible talents to come into the NFL in a long time."#NFLTop100 His season was cut short by injury, but @deshaunwatson lands at #50 on the countdown!#NFLTop100 pic.twitter.com/rfkQlIKYoD
