Clemson senior right-handed reliever Ryan Miller was selected with the 189th overall pick in the sixth round of the MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Miller was one of two pitchers to earn all-Clemson Regional honors over the weekend after pitching eight innings total and earning a win in an elimination game versus St. John's.

He went 7-1 on the season, also adding four saves, with a 2.51 ERA in 26 appearances.

The 189th pick is slotted a $243,700 contract by MLB.

Miller is a third Clemson player to be selected in the draft so far, joining Seth Beer (28th, Houston Astros) and Ryley Gilliam (140th, New York Mets).

Miller was the first Tiger chosen by the Diamondbacks since 2010 (Mike Freeman).
