Orhorhoro (6-5, 263) made Clemson his last stop on a summer tour that saw a visit to Kentucky last week. The Tigers and Wildcats made Orhorhoro’s top four, along with Indiana and Michigan. After the Clemson trip, however, Orhorhoro has canceled a planned trip to Indiana and has decided to not take a trip to Michigan. The River Rouge (MI) product visited Clemson with a couple of his high school coaches and came away impressed with everything he saw. “I had an amazing time. It was great. I could tell that the people were genuine,” Orhorhoro told TigerNet. “I hung out with Coach V (Brent Venables) and Coach Swinney a lot. I got to know some of the players. I came with my high school coaches and we had a really fun time. It’s great down there. He even got to see the usually intense Brent Venables make a move on the dance floor. “I saw Coach V dance and that was pretty funny,” Orhorhoro said. “We were in the photo shoot and the music was playing and he just started dancing. We were laughing at him. It was pretty cool. Everything stuck out to me. It was just great all in all. They were just telling me how they love me not only as a player but as a person. I’m genuine and I have good grades. They were telling me that I fit their scheme.” While on campus, Orhorhoro saw everything he needed to see. “The facility is amazing and the campus itself was beautiful,” he said. “It’s in a secluded area and it’s a college town, so the focus can be not only on my development as a player, but as a student and as a man.” Next up? A decision. “I don’t have any more visits planned,” Orhorhoro said. “I’m going to weigh out my options and make a decision from there. I’ll make my decision very soon.” Where does Clemson stand with a decision on the way? “They stand in a good, no, a great position,” he said.
