2017: Had 64 tackles, two tackles for loss, a quarterback pressure, four pass breakups and a 63-yard fumble return for a touchdown in 482 snaps over 14 games (nine starts) … had four tackles in 28 snaps against Kent State on Sept. 2 … had seven tackles in 69 snaps against No. 13 Auburn on Sept. 9 … had a tackle and pass breakup in 11 snaps at No. 14 Louisville on Sept. 16 … had eight tackles, a tackle for loss and pass breakup in 62 snaps against Boston College on Sept. 23 … had nine tackles in 51 snaps at No. 12 Virginia Tech on Sept. 30 … had eight tackles, a tackle for loss and pass breakup in 47 snaps against Wake Forest on Oct. 7; named team co-defensive player-of-the-game … had 10 tackles and a 63-yard fumble return for a touchdown in 74 snaps at Syracuse on Oct. 13 … played 26 snaps against Georgia Tech on Oct. 28; named team co-defensive player-of-the-game … had five tackles in 49 snaps at No. 20 NC State on Nov. 4 … had three tackles and a pass breakup in 13 snaps against The Citadel on Nov. 18 … had four tackles in 12 snaps against No. 7 Miami (Fla.) in the ACC Championship Game on Dec. 2.

2016: Shared Special Teams Defensive Player of the Year honors with Chad Smith … had 24 tackles in 106 snaps (15 games) … tied Smith for team lead with 10 special teams tackles … posted five tackles, including a special teams stop, in 37 snaps against SC State … had special teams stop in win over Louisville … saw eight snaps of action at Boston College, with two tackles … special teams player-of-the-game against Syracuse with two tackles in coverage … returned first career interception for a touchdown in the same game, Clemson’s first freshman to earn a “pick six” since Wayne Simmons at Florida State in 1989 … had two special teams tackles at Wake Forest … had five tackles in 20 snaps, including one on special teams, against South Carolina … played seven snaps at safety and posted two tackles, including one on special teams, against Alabama in the National Championship Game.
