First half surge fuels Clemson's 85-57 rout of Western Carolina

Friday’s season opener was just what the Clemson basketball team needed. The Tigers used a 22-2 run to close out the first half and started the second half with a 13-4 run en route to an 85-57 drubbing of Western Carolina at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson improves to 1-0 on the season while Western Carolina starts out 0-1. Full Story »

Just so happens you have to create an account and put in your full name, email address, and telephone number for them to in turn email you a... wait for it... username and password.

I’m not joking.

Which my Verizon signal wasn’t strong to check my email. Go figure. But I got the email with my username and password when I got home! Yay!

But honestly brownlee has some legit young talent this year. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, he does with it. Amir Simms is an athlete - looks like he could play DE for our football team NOW. And he’s coordinated... which is rare for us - to recruit a basketball player with coordination, size, and skill. #20 is an Thomas clone - which will at least add depth.

The UM transfer seems to know what he’s doing as well...

Overall I’m pretty excited about this season. Go Tigers!

Looks a good start to the Tigers BB season. Gotta check the turnovers. I believe I read that was a prob in the Tennessee exhibition game.
