It’s Great to be an American!

Oct 25, 2019, 5:19 PM

I’m currently deer hunting and got to thinking; there’s nothing greater than the USA. Through hard work during the week, I am able to provide for myself as well as for my family. On Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, I am able observe nature and hunt leisurely. On Saturday afternoons, I get to see our Tigers strive for greatness. On Sundays, I am able to worship God and give thanks for my great fortunes. Thank you veterans for providing us with and maintaining our freedom.
God Bless America and Go Tigers!!!

Here in Belton, I only take 14 pointers or higher. I’m a trophy hunter. ??

When was the last time you squeezed a trigger - 14 pointers? I have to add 2 deer together to get that many.

I got a 10 point in 1974, his rack wasn't that impressive looking, but I have gotten some 8 points that the racks was deserving to be a picture in a book of nice 8 point Bucks!!!

This is a POTD for me bc I'm with you, it's great to be an American for many reasons that our freedom allows us to have, and those freedom are many and more than any country in this world. And yes, we should thank our Military persons everytime we see one in uniform bc they have committed their life to protect our freedom and every breathing thing that walks across the soil in the United States of America. Our soldiers have also agree to give or risk life and limb to protect our country and knowing that agreement could leave their children fatherless or motherless, and their mothers and fathers never seeing their sons or daughters again with the living. God Bless America, especially the men and women that have made a promise to give their lives to keep ours free!!!

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

Called one of my grandsons last night to see if he wanted a ticket for the game. His response, "No sir, Papa Joe. I'm going deer hunting". My wife gave him a Parker Brothers shotgun about 15 years ago she had inherited from her Dad and he from his Dad. That gun remains under lock and key. It's not for hunting.

You and I are living the American dream. We are truly blessed. I thank God for our Founding Fathers who had the brilliance and foresight to write our Constitution!!

Amen brother. We take this for granted. All this crap being said about our great country these days when we all better be thankful we live in the best country in this world. Listening to the news media they want us to think the exact opposite. People need to wake up over here and realize we live where nearly every other person on the planet would be willing to trade countries with them to have the privilege to live here. So if you are not happy living here I am sure you could easily trade places with them. We are blessed. Go Tigers!!!!!!

Seriously, I never dreamed I'd see the day where a bunch of turds would be so opposed to the things that America stands for, and from which they themsleves benefit from so abundantly. No, everything in America is not perfect; we've got some ugly for sure, but come on.

ST everyone else is celebrating our good fortune and you want to bring turds into the happy reflections. What's with that?
