That is outrageous. I thought New Spring was picking up that tab! Perhaps the offering plates aren't deep enough.

There's no need to travel if there's no interest in your program/coach.

Most Coots think that if they keep showing up and begging a recruit that's not interested, they'll give in.
Guess that's how they get laid.

Well when you have to travel all over the country to talk

to people from every corner of America who want to play on your team it's going to cost a lot more than just driving over to Richland and Lexington Co. schools to beg a two-star to "stay at home."

When you have a national program, a true national program and have to fly to Kansas or Texas or you name the state where a clemson player is from instead of driving in state to recruit this is what happens.
Just look at where are recruits are from, all over the country, look at USC's regional is kind of stretch but lets give them that. I would call it local recruiting but hey they do bring some kids in from out of state so it should probably be regional and not just local.

They are missing the point.

The point isn't turning a coach loose with unlimited funding. Dabo was bootstrapped until he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that his work was worthy of being expanded and the investments Clemson has made in funding his agenda.
I mean, if mushy made an SECCCG and didn't leave the University embarrassed they'd see that he had the money to do what he wants. So far he's done nothing to make anyone believe he has a clue on how to build a winning program. Hail, he had everything a coach could want at Florida and left the program worse off than he found it.
The simple minded throw money at a problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. USuCk has no reason to believe money will help their program so the BOT there uses it where it might help. I respect that.

Well the Coots don’t have much chance getting decent players out of state , so they don’t travel much. The ones they do get nobody else wants so just a phone call to come on down works

2 guys around 175k and the USC guy around 40k. Well as has been reported before the president, AD, BOT are all-in with Dabo and staff. The results are there. Travel, fuel, lodging all that #### adds up, I see nothing wrong, Clemson family fully supports this program. We don’t wanna go back to mediocre. This is what it takes, so much competition out there. Dabo runs a clean and transparent program. Haters believe what you want.
