There's no doubt missing 40% of you starting team . .

will impact any team. It impacts us worse as we are not deep. Duke can handle it better, UNC, etc. So it's frustrating. And when we were still playing great after one went down . .we really were not that good. You never are as good or as worse as you look some times. DeVoe is not a consistent shooter. He looked like an All American when we were hot and winning, he's not that guy. He has come back to Earth with a thud. So unfortunately what I thought might happen with the final 6 games may very well happen. Our players . not good decision makers and do things that I would pull a HS player off the floor during a game. But we have recruited players, doing the same thing. Trapp . .is horrible. Skara, is horrible. Thomas is average, Devoe is inconsistent. If Trapp and Skara could make an impact, we could probably hang in and win a few games we have lost. But we were marginal, when we had everyone because of depth. My hopes are in the future that we can actually build some depth. Wouldn't that be nice?

So you knew in the last 6 games we would play two of those without our starting PG?
Got the lotto numbers?

No, I knew after the FS loss, we would have trouble winning, with only one starter missing.

Well that's a pretty ridiculous assertion. You also said the last 6 games, FSU was the first game of those 6. You can also never count a road game as a win so that takes away half of them.
I'm sure with Mitchell the Duke game would have had a much different outcome.

I think I said that, right? We were over achieving when the first went down, to stay at a high level. But they totally gave a game to FS. That broke the run. Loosing another starter just made it worse.

40% of our starting lineup in football would be 8-9 starters. One is the point guard, which is analogous to QB. The other starter is your best player - analogous o Christian Wilkins.
Heck - we lost to Syracuse in football without our QB and only a couple of injured players and Syracuse finished the year in football at 4-8.

No one in college basketball really has that much depth anymore. Kids today are no longer willing to sit on the bench at an ACC school if they can start and play real minutes somewhere else.
Even Duke has trouble with depth these days. The Blue Devils have only two players that have played more than 10 minutes a game besides the starting five. Even with Bagley out for the past four games and putting 160 minutes available to the bench, the Duke reserves have only managed about 32 minutes a night out of 200 game minutes this year or slightly over 16% of all playing time. And most of that is over the past four games with Bagley out or during early preseason blowouts.
The days of a lot of quality reserve players are gone. Players want to play, and they are willing to leave quickly if they’re not getting plan time. Heck just about the entire starting lineup for Clemson are transfers looking for better situations and in some cases more playing time.

Sure I know the goodies leave early. But the stock is better. That's ll I mean. I( wish we had one or two more quality players, in the waiting . .thats could spell decent minutes now.

Only using 40% of your available reasoning capacity can also be retarding . I imagine you'd know that more than most ?

You do realize that when your starting point guard goes out

you lean more on your shooting guard to handle the ball... which really hurts the shooting. Your legs arent as fresh, you no longer have the main guy starting the plays to set you up for an oen shot... I mean, you do realize that right... right? I mean when Mitchell came back, Gabe still shot terrible right? Oh... no, he didnt. You do not understand basketball.
