That pass was clearly intended to allow for a PI call which was crap. Straight up in air. Almost touched moon. Joke call

It was a poor call, but the db didn't help. It looked like he only wanted to face guard the receiver instead of using the leverage he had. He could have turned around to the field and still boxed out the receiver.

Something I don't get when people say things like this. If the refs are there to make sure NE doesn't lose, then why allow them to fall behind in the first place? Why not find a holding call to prevent one of Jacksonville's scoring drives? Why not find more PI penalties to keep NE drives alive?

Because they want people to be interested. They have to make it look like the big boys are going down. If people know it's rigged from the start no one will watch. First half was the Jags but the game belonged to Tom
