No way that was offside. I hate that they can review a no call on an inadvertent poke in the eye, but not a terrible offside call on a game winning goal.

With a simple conversation between the ref and the linesman. The linesman evidently missed the last touch by our passing player. The ref should’ve asked him when was the offside (because it was obviously not on the pass from the angle of the ref) and then it would’ve been cleared up. Bad game management by the ref.

But it was closer than it appeared. Had the last little touch by our passing player not occurred (and it was a very slight touch) then the offside would’ve been correct.
But yes, bad call. Glad it didn’t cost us.

The linesman can't keep up or simply don't know the rule. I gave seen countless horrible offsides calls in college soccer.
The women's team was screwed out of the game winner vs Oregon in overtime in a call worse than tonight's. I haven't been able to find the replay of it but I swear it was one of the worst offsides calls I've ever seen.

Defenders would never push up at all and you’d see constant 6 on 10 for any offensive possession. Defenders would have to camp back to make sure no offensive player could cherry pick goals.

Seems like we need to inject more money in ncaa soccer. ACCN is the best thing to happen, I’ve been really impressed.

programs. Like in the SEC, only SC and Kentucky have teams. Only West Virginia in the Big 12. And most in the ACC do but GT, FSU and MIami don't have teams.
Also many people within US Soccer actually think college soccer is a bad route to go for players who are serious about pro development. They dislike the rule differences and how the game is played. So players in MLS youth academies are encouraged not to go play college if they truly want to play professional.
