Will Ryan Hilinski take the same path as so many other Gamecock QB of the past and get worse as he gains experience from the USCe coaching?
If he takes the Bentley route, by the time he becomes a senior he may be able to finish his final three drives as a Gamecock with INT, INT, sack/fumble.
Connor Shaw failed to live up to the typical USCe standard (in a good way), but it seems like a lot of their QBs really do end up getting worse and then losing their job as the starter. I could be wrong about these guys, but it seems like Stephen Garcia, Blake Mitchell, Syvelle Newton, Corey Jenkins all lost their job as starting QB late in their career. I'm sure there are others too, but I can't remember many other Gamecock QBs.
