People need to stop with ND being the toughest game:

Mar 26, 2019, 5:44 PM

After seeing the replay, the toughest game was CLEARLY Duke. Hope that clears things up.

Probably the first 2 minutes of the UofSUK were the toughest. NOT!

Finally someone said it. Duke put up a better fight than Bama. Really looking forward to the Bama opening game. It may just shut this SEC superior schedule rhetoric down.

:) Sorry, but I have to disagree with the OP. ND was indeed the toughest, man-to-man in talent and abilities. Duke just happened to expose our biggest weakness, and that was those quick-release passes surgically dissecting our secondary at will. Daniel Jones had almost no help, and Duke was thin, so it was just a matter of time against a barrage of fresh players. Duke was doomed to fail due to depth and talent. ND however had depth and talent and the score is not indicative of how much of a fight they put up. You might want to re-watch those games again. It was Daniel Jones vs CLEMSON, or the entire ND team vs CLEMSON. ND was easily the toughest opponent.

And yes, ND was tougher than Bama. Too many individuals and not enough team players.

I never said that captain Hyperbole. Maybe watch the game and see how they focused on shutting our running game down and pressing our receivers. That took balls considering their talent discrepancy, and it worked for approximately for 27 minutes. Believe it or not, Duke is one of the better coached teams in the conference.
