You nailed it BigCUFan. We were watching the Cuse game & Herbie or Sean made some comment before Cuse's 1st punt about how great he was (like top 5 or whatever).
We turned to each other and said, "Do we face the best punter in the nation every single week!!??" It sure seems that way. Why can't WE get one of those "missile launchers" at CU? Seems like it's been - fovever!

I've often wondered the same thing but now tend to believe Dabo's plan is to have an offense operate at a level that does not require a punter except on very rare occasions.

I guess it says a lot when our opponent's best weapon is their punter, and ours is not. But it is still mind blowing to see every punter we face become world class in one game.

It seems that way don’t it......no matter who we play their punter averages 50+ yards a punt and our guy has a very hard time even getting one punt to go at least 40 yards.......Go Tigers!!!!!

Dabo, despite all of his many great qualities, is intensely loyal to Will Spiers. I understand he’s a great kid and his dad is on staff and a Clemson legend but is he the best we’ve got? Given Dabo’s track record of putting the needs of the team above individuals, he must be the best option. He has be consistent, consistently mediocre. I trust Dabo.

Has our backup been given any attempts yet? Should've had a couple with two big wins. After Carson King hit a 48 yarder last year thought he would get a few tries but he went missing even as the team rolled up several big scores.
