Late night playoff scenario for SEC.....

Nov 15, 2017, 12:49 AM

Here's a scenario that would be interesting......

Auburn beats Alabama
Georgia loses to Ga. Tech

Then Georgia somehow gets it together and wins the rematch over Auburn on a neutral field.

Auburn finishes 10-3, Georgia finishes 11-2 and SEC champion, and Alabama finishes 11-1 but not a division winner.

Meanwhile Clemson, Wisconsin and Oklahoma win out to occupy 3 of the playoff spots. Miami has 1 loss.
A resurgent USC team wins the Pac 12 and has crept closer to the top as others have fallen. Notre Dame has won their last 2, but is blocked by Miami from advancing in the polls.

My guess is that Bama gets the nod in this scenario..... Or does UGA sneak back in, just by virtue of winning the SEC, even with a loss at GT? Or does Miami have a shot if their only loss is a classic to Clemson?
