But there is one thing Lane knows how to do is coach the game and run an offense. He is matured in some ways since leaving Bama, but still has other areas where he has some growing up to do.

Went back from 2016 until 2012 and it seems FAU’s record was about the same every year 3-9 overall and 2-6 in conference play. In 2017 Lane is already 6-3 overall and 5-0 in Conference USA play. So we know he can coach butcan he manage a major program or is he more suited for a small school.

He has the team winning, more students and fans attending games and he seems to be having fun too. If I were Lane Kiffin I would spend about 3-5 years at FAU while I got my personal life in order and my feet solidly on the ground before jumping back into the fire of the Power 5.
