I'm surprised Coach K got outcoached by Kansas

Duke was up by 3 with less than one minute left and they had the ball and they lose. That does not happen often. I'm not sure why Duke played zone all game. I don't recall them playing man to man any. I think they should have played man some just to change things up some, plus Kansas was killing them on the 3's.
I am also puzzled why Duke did not feed the ball to Bagley every play.

two elite big men. Kansas started four super quick guard types who would have eaten Duke up if playing man.

Duke was doing fine with their zone, I don't have a problem with that. But when they switched to a 1-3-1 zone it was dumb. I also thought K should've called a timeout at the end of regulation, since he had 2 left and drew up a play getting Bagley the ball and a mismatch. Instead they spread out to give Allen iso. Allen went 3-13 on the day and Bagley went 5-9. Who would you rather give the ball to and let them drive the lane and try to create a last second shot to win it?

Allen's last shot was a bad call. Did Allen end up winging it on his own though? He probably was given a coupe options. WHo knows? I could never truly say who did a better job coaching in that game though.

I agree! I thought it was Allen trying to prove he was the "leader" of that team, and by golly he was going to get them the win.
