Be Truthful

Sep 19, 2018, 7:57 PM

I personally believe as talented as this Tiger team is we should start just destroying teams.
Very happy we got out of a early road game in a hostile environment with a win.
I pretty much expected a close game , but excepted to pull away not hang on.
So all I’m asking is vs a team like GT are you happy with just getting a Close Win?
I mean of coarse we will be happy with any kind of win.
But shouldn’t the Tigers by game 4 , start to flex muscles?

A close win in Atlanta against a team that historically,

the last couple years aside, has given us fits?

Uh...yeah, I'm fine with a close win.

I'll be honest, and not saying this is necessarily your point of view specifically, but I don't know where this "we should blow out every team we play" mindset comes from. Clemson has been at or near the top of the college football landscape for the better part of a decade now. When we come rolling into town it's the @#%$ Super Bowl for most teams. We get everybody's best shot, and the vast majority of the time we keep winning despite the expected pitfalls associated with complacency, etc.

I'll take the close ones, the blowouts, the nail biters, the snooze fests, etc.

Go Tigers.

I well remember when the Tigers played GT on the road every year and UGA was in that same group. Always early in the year and usually a disaster. That’s where Coach Howard’s “white meat” came from. After taking a beating in Georgia , UVA often came to town, thus white meat. Howard used to say after the games with our neighbors from the south and ACC ball began that it was good to be back in academia! Loooong time ago.

I'll only be happy if we win by 120 or more

I don't like GT

we need to be like the heel wrestler than has an opponent beat, but before the ref counts to 3, he picks the beaten wrestler off the mat and punishes him some more.

I hope we barely win on the score board, but get our butts kicked up and down the field in every other stat so I can spend all of next week complaining about it.

Save the points and flexing for SCAR

It will be even more humiliating when Ben Batson comes trotting out for the 4th quarter.

15-0 goal
margin of victory for 14 games ... no matter
USuC game 50+ margin acceptable, 75 preferred.
