What year was more difficult excluding the cfp?
78 makes great points about O and D stats.
We played 9 P5 teams with 7 Ws or more in 17 and 8 P5 teams with 7 Ws or more in 16.

2016 was without question a tougher schedule. Especially for the offense.

Please don't shoot me for giving you the actual answer specific... But it is 2016 over 2017:

2016... High of 1, low of 17, ended #3
2017... High of 2, low of 68, ended #4

Ending is similar, but there's a decent Gap in the low .

Now I'll sit and wait for the 400 flamers to nail me for posting the real strength of schedules instead of opinions.
