Men's tennis vs Louisville 4pm, preview

Like the baseball team, Clemson men's tennis is hosting Louisville today at 4. If you are coming in for baseball at 6, swing by the Hoke Sloan tennis center for the doubles point.

Louisville is 14-9 overall and 2-6 in the ACC. They are not ranked in the ITA top 50. They did however recently upset #24 Miami.


Projected Louisville singles lineup:

1. #115 Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff, Sr. Capbreton, France
2. Brandon Lancaster, Sr. Lancaster, KY
3. Fabien Salle, Fr. Geneva, Switzerland
4. Sergio Hernandez Ramirez, Fr. Medellin, Colombia
5. Federico Gomez, Sr. Buenos Aires, Argentina
6. Clement Filho, Jr. Paris, France

Louisville is actually strongest at 4-5. The rest of the lineup trades wins here and there. This is one of Clemson's last chance to get a win on the season. But even though Louisville is one of the weaker ACC teams they are still a bit better than Clemson ad I expect the Cardinals to pull out the win. Especially if Dodens is out for Clemson again.

I see the Women's team lost to Duke earlier today.Never would have thought a Nancy Harris team would have a bad season like they are having this year.Prior to this season in 19 of her 21 seasons as head coach at Clemson she has led the program to the NCAA Tournament and also has gone to 17 straight NCAA Tournaments since 2002.Not looking good at all for that streak to continue this season unless they win the remaining 3 regular season matches and do really well in the ACC Tournament as they currently are 8-13 overall.
