they would have flippled Scalia's and Kennedy's seats and

Citizens United would be overturned.

I think that's a fair assessment from a libs perspective. Otherwise, nothing else would be significantly different.

Under a Clinton presidency, they'd all be dead .

so if the Court stayed the same?

then I'd say there was no measurable difference. just marginal tweaks to trade and taxes. but HRC would not get anything of substance through the GOP congress.

Yeah, I have to agree with Alex. To my knowledge many who voted for Hillary were just actually voting against Trump.

Both were terrible choices.

Honestly, I suspect there would be little to no difference other than who is doing the complaining.

Trevor Lawrence would have gone to Georgia.

And defeated Kelly Bryant's Tigers in the CFP semifinal.

Can someone also explain what the world would be like today if I swallowed the blue pill?

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wow, that's easy.

Jan 15, 2019, 2:13 PM

And preface it by saying Hillary would be a terrible president. However, she would be an ineffective president.

From 2017 to election day 2018, Hillary would have been completely hemmed in by a Republican GOP. We probably would have been looking at more of a lame duck type of presidency with little action, drama, or staff turnover. Can't say no investigations, but certainly not on the level we have now.

My prediction is that 2018 election would not have seen many, if any, flips in Congressional seats. The GOP wouldn't have taken the hit it did due to Trump.

We certainly wouldn't be in the middle of this border wall/shutdown mess.

So why would I think we would have been better off now? Simply because Congress could keep a bad president very much under control. They don't seem able to do that now with this human wrecking ball.

Not a lib/socialist but I’ll take a crack at it:

1) No kids in cages
2) No dumb shutdown over a wall.
3) Obamacare would still work for those who need it.
4) The deficit and by association the national debt would not be soaring higher than ever.
5) Maybe we woulda gotten an infrastructure bill? And a Dreamer bill?
6) No roll back of federal regulations to protect the environment.
7) Hillary would not take orders from Putin.
8) No dumb tariffs to weaken our economy.

That’s all I got for now. And no I didn’t vote for Hillary and never would. But Trump is a moron just admit it so we can all move on.
