I view this one like the XT Thomas recruitment. Thomas ultimately choosing Clemson was a major meltdown inducing event for the fan-base. It wouldn't surprise me if Burch is advised to make multiple visits to USC, show a lot of love, and then in the end go to where he was always going to go from the beginning....

As if beating their big brother 2 out of the last 3 years for the national title wasn't enough, they think that Clemson/Dabo is petty enough to play games with their emotions like that? Gamecock fans, you have become like App State and Georgia Southern to Clemson...a game that must be played, and one that Clemson's only worry is coming out of the game healthy.

Unlike other programs Clemson encourages recruits to take visits to other schools and be 100% sure before they commit.

...but it really does make sense to them because
1) the talk of the chicken curse having returned has been on their talk station in recent days... LOLOL
2) just like chicken little, they are running around screaming, "the sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!"
3) two of their former players have authored books titled, 'Just A Chicken', and 'Just A Chicken (Little)' that deal with just these kind of esteem issues... LOLOLOL
and I promise that I am not making this up about the books... LOLOL

My thoughts here are that this has nothing to do with Dabo. Those people making "recommendations" would likely be those around Burch who may just have seen the vitriol directed toward XT and don't want him to have to deal with that any longer than he has to. I don't believe that the CU coaches would condone, let alone encourage, visiting another school just to mess with the fans/coaches by a recruit.
