both teams got a warning

about the 5th or 6th inning when our pitcher hit 2 Bees in a row to start an inning. There was jawing from each dugout leading up to it.

Griffith got tossed when he celebrated a strikeout (and stared or said something to the batter).

Then the GT pitcher got ejected in the 9th when he hit Teo in the butt.
GT coach was tossed for arguing with ump (deserved).

Holt Jones got tossed on 1st pitch of 9th when he brushed back batter (I don't think it hot him, but they gave him 1st base anyways).
Monte got ejected by rule I think, because he didn't make a scene.

Tomatoes and Graprfruits, not even in the same family. Monte is in his 3rd season and has had some pretty decent success. BB has had one decent season in what? 9 or so? I think many of us are willing to give Monte a Mulligan year if signs start to trend upward this season, tournament or not. Coach BB, even some like me who are not huge Basketball fans dislike being the bottom of the ACC in anything, much less a big 2 sport.

If it was by rule is Holt suspended for 4 games and Monty for 1?

The ejections and closely called game in the late innings was due to the umpires gaining control of the game. It was the proper thing to do between two rival teams. Good job by the blues. AND the Tigers prevailed,

After the jawing, hit batters, warnings and ejections, I hope this is a wake up call and pulls the team together for the final run!
