Question about Perry Noble/New Spring posts

I have seen a lot of negative post about Perry and his church. Can anyone provide me a link where his name or church are directly mentioned on Tigernet. I know about Sammy bc of friends that were present, and about Deandre bc of Jeff Scotts post, but where is there anything from Perry or NS trying to pump himself or the church up. I have several friends that attend NS, I have an employee that attends NS, if you know much about NS, you know who Clayton is, I went to HS and went to his original home church with him. I trust all of these people are living their lives for Jesus. I have been to a service myself, although I choose to attend elsewhere, I believe in what the church is doing. If you are not a believer fine, but at least have respect for those that are. Why would you put down the wonderful things going on with the team, I guess you would be happier if we had Spurrier for a coach and had coaches urinating in public and players showing up drunk for school functions.

What turned me off was is 90 day challenge video and land video. I'm in support of our players accepting Christ as their savior and being baptized...however I do believe this dude is a high pressure salesman trying to meet quota.....watch the videos and how intent he is about contributions....but it's not for me to say.

There are a lot of questions about the activities at this church. How they present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have family that attend NS in Florence and it has become a cult following...You don't worship the preacher but you worship Jesus Christ.

but I have no problem with the Church, even if I did, theres no proof of anything anybody claims about the church.
Everybody just seems really upset that Dabo apparantly got the wrong guy to say the prayer...

Didn't the apostles appoint deacons because they didn't have time to "wait tables" and they needed to be committed to a specific aspect of ministry.

Bryantiger does not agree with Noble saying what he will or will not do. But church leadership in the bible did the same thing. isn't then any religion promoted by the apostles false?

When Jesus fed the 5,000 and remember the 5000 were just men, so there were about 20 thousand probably with counting women and children. But Jesus had the disciples serve every single person. He was teaching them that they are called to serve and not be served. Jesus came to serve

That video is just crazy to me. Isn't what he's talking about not wanting be a part of and what he's not willing to
do(this includes visiting a sick parishioner in the hospital) part of a Pastor's duty to his church and it's members??? I hope Clemson isn't paying this bozo anything....

from tithe and offering. I gladly tithe at least 10% of my income, and I feel good that the lords money is 100% going to missions. Missions=s anything that goes towards leading the lost to Jesus. My pastor depends on whatever percentage of the tithe to put a roof over his head, food on his table and reliable transportation. My brothers pastor probably makes less than 20k, but he has less than 50 people, PN has over 10k, I have no quarrels with him being rewarded for letting God work through him.

doesn't take a dime, he wants that money to go to missions and the church. Now I have no problem with pastors getting paid, but if that is why you're in it, then there is something big wrong there

And I didnt think anything about it, seemed like what came out of the bible to me.
Now im certianly no expert on the word of god, but im also not qualifed to downgrade a place of worship

Why can't you just give your talents to God instead of wanting to be paid money? We have a song leader and he doesn't ask to be paid, we were at a camp meeting and everyone who sang a special wanted to be paid or played an instrument. What are you really doing it for?

The instant you imply that Noble/New Spring = Clemson Football, you are opening a can of worms.
You begin your post saying there is absolutely no connection, but end it by saying that without Noble we would have a trashy rundown program.

He had been without work for a couple years..goes to a church bringing in millions. He was still tithing his 10 percent...still to this day not sure how he did it.
We pulled up to a stop light...I looked over at a landrover and said what a nice ride. He said that was his pastor....didn't say a word..but was so upset...guess that is why I'm not very keen on this nobles. Why didnt the church help my brother in his time of need.
