Julian Love's head injury

If Julian Love had a head injury in the first half, why did they not take his helmet away until they deemed him fit to play again? Did they violate concussion protocol because TL, JR and Tee were violating his replacement?

when he came off the field he was holding his hamstring. Later they showed him on the bike stretching it out. Was not a head injury.

go the wrong info from someone. She said head injury but i didn't see him doing anything but trying to stretch out his legs.

In his post game interview, he said Love was having memory problems and didn't pass their protocol. Which I thought meant he was out for at least a week. Guess they get to have different protocols at Jesus U?

I have heard of players coming back from concussions and playing the next week. But I've never heard of anyone failing the protocol and playing later in the same game.
Does anyone know the rules on this? Is this really legal?

Coach Kelly said at halftime it was a head injury, so the commentators used that. But he was grabbing his hamstring and trying to stretch it out.

I believe it was a mix up of words. What was actually said was “Kelly is a head case and Love has an injury”
