Bored A&M Game Traffic Question

Aug 7, 2019, 3:29 PM

Normally, when I come in for games I'll come in from Charlotte. For A&M will come out of Atlanta, for the A&M game if I am crossing the SC line on 85 around 11:30AM for 3:30PM game I am assuming traffic will suck. Any tips on route from the South to dodge traffic? Thanks.

Get off on the Townville Exit and then turn rat on Conoross Creek rd to Clemson. Should avoid a lot of traffic

or take Exit 2 just across the state line (Hwy 59)...

and come in the back way through Fairplay and Seneca.

Where you park would play a large role in the route you choose.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Noon games are the worse...330 games usually have traffic but it's broken up from about 900 on so it "usually" doesn't back up.

You can take exit 1 once you cross into SC and go the back way...it'll bring you in close to Y-beach....It really depends on where you park I guess.

This

Back when I had to travel to/from ATL every so often I would take 85 to the line, exit 1 aka SC11, then to 123. Mostly this was to stop for lunch in Seneca as it was an "in ATL at 8am, leave at 11am". I hated driving 76 so it was fine for me. I have no clue how it is on gameday.
