Arya kills Jon Snow so she can use his face to get close to Dany, but viewers aren't aware until the closing scene, where the shot is from behind (lol) Dany/Jon looking out on the remaining people of King's Landing. We then see "Jon Snow" pull out (lol) Needle while Dany is unware, fade to black, queue Journey.
maybe replace Jon Snow w/ Tyrion...
this doesn't make sense, but what has this season?

Was one of the better episodes

Hopefully however they wrap things up makes sense, but I'm ready to be at least slightly disappointed. It's sort of clear at this point that things would've been better if they'd had at least one more season, or another 3-4 episodes in this season. Still, it's entertaining, and that's all this show has ever been. People have tried to make it into something more meaningful, and it's not really that kind of show.
SPOILERS
Qyburn's death was hilarious Clegane Bowl was pretty good Danaerys seeking vengeance on King's Landing has set up further tension between her, the Starks, and everybody from Westeros Danaerys now can't take the throne and have people feeling like it was just without some major developments in the next episode Why's Arya riding away on a white horse? What's Bran up to? Are they really just going to let the whole Three Eyed Raven thing go with his opposition to the Night King?

i think people looking for symbolism and meaning in GOT

Have it wrong. That's not what GOT is about. It's not lord of the rings.
It's always been more about the indifference of the world in the face of battle and hardship. Good guys die, bad guys die, some characters get what they deserve, some don't. It mirrors real life. It's not meant to be a storybook fable.

Best episode of this season (spoilers)

...although not saying much...I still enjoyed it. I like seeing Dany go Mad Queen now that she's alone in the world. I think that's the end of her/Jon and I want to see how Jon and Arya react given their near death experiences.
Like some have said, Clegane bowl was sweet. I wanted Cersei to get directly killed, but I get it, everything she thought was safe and has built collapsing around her, yada yada whut dee eff ever. Jaime's a bammer jammer inbred #####. That fight with Euron was a mix of kind of cool to completely ridiculous. Tyrion should for sure side w/ Starks now, only question is whether they can save him. If not, he's gone quick in the finale. Clegane bowl was sweet, loved the Hound's goodbye to Arya.
Dark (actually white horse) prediction: Bran was the white horse that saved Arya (lolz, no way they thought of that)
Finale predictions: I really hope Sansa shows up with some more of the Northern soldiers to flex against Dany. Not sure what is going to happen with the dragon...if Dany dies, does he just fly away? Can they try to kill him? These are obviously questions worth asking if she dies. Also if she dies - who becomes the winner? Sansa? Bran? Jon clearly doesn't want it and, IMO, will head back to the North if he survives. If Jon dies, does the North just go apeshit again, killing the Mad Targaryan tyrant, and we basically finish the series where we started? Maybe they both die and it's left to Sansa, Arya, Bran and Gendry?
Who the #### knows, I just hope they can stick the landing with the time they have left.

I've been thinking about the fortune teller that told

[ in reply to Best episode of this season (spoilers) ] |

Cersei that she would sit on the throne, be killed by younger brother, and be replaced on the throne by a younger, more beautiful woman.
I thought all along that Sansa would be a great dark-horse candidate to replace her. I think it's even more likely with Danny going all mad-queen.
I think it's crappy that they made such a big deal of the fortune and then Cersei wasn't killed by a younger sibling... unless you somehow think one of them indirectly caused it...
I was suprised that Danny went all mad-queen, but when you think about how the entire series has been... nothing has had a happy ending... so it shouldn't have suprised me at all. Still shocking to see, I guess.

Wife asked why, because there are hotter girls on the show.
I told her that I like my women somewhat hot and dumb as a box of rocks.
She took offense for some reason...

I also don't think it's necessarily true that Danaerys is mad, or that she went mad. Having somebody other than Jon or Dany on the throne would just be goofy.

Maybe John takes the Throne and marries Sansa since they're not related.
Then technically, Queen Cersei WILL be replaced by Sansa... Perhaps?

She either ends up abdicating or she gets killed by somebody who isn't a main character because of what she did in King's Landing. Another possibility is she agree to rule with Jon/somebody else from the north, or she just decided to completely "break the wheel" and let the people choose a ruler for themselves.
