hey grandpaw, what's for dinner?

solo tonight, so skillet pizzas. I thought I had smoked salmon, but it's old. So now it's canned Bar Harbor Skinless, Boneless Smoked Sardine Fillets on skillet pizza. This is nothing like the lil fish in a tin, they're great on a cracker. Haven't quite settled on recipe, but thinking cream cheese base, red onions, colored bell peppers, garlic, and sardine fillets under shredded mozerella and italian cheese blend.

Cut a full head in half, drizzle with olive oil and season with S&P. 2 min on each side or until lightly charred.
Add some Caesar dressing and parm. Good stuff.

Lemon Pepper, Garlic Pepper, Medium, Painful, and for a small up charge we mixed Garlic Butter w/Medium. Plus some raw fries crispy.
Lots of cold beer and a little bourbon.

sauteed the red onion, yellow bell pepper, and brocolli a lil wit Italian seasoning, then put over base sauce w/ drained sardine filets over whipped Kraft cream cheese wit a lil Ketchup and 3 cloves minced garlic mixed in, covered by mozerella and italian bagged shredded Kraft cheeses. Finished with fresh-grated Parmession. The smoked sardines blended in great. Will do again, highly recommend.

which are excellent as well. Bought only on sale at Fresh Market. But their stuff is great. And it keeps forever, until, like, some night you're cooking for one and need a protein.

you wouldn't eat that? It's on a whole wheat tortilla, so they're small, quick cooking, healthier pies.
Check out Bar Harbor stuff, these are large pieces of skin-off, boneless SMOKED sardines.
The best skillet pizza I ever made. But I wouldn't be able to talk Mrs No into it either...
