a few were cancelled last year thanks to weather

But I've never seen one cancelled because basically the coach said so. Especially somewhere like TCU where you would expect there to be a decent crowd

exhibition scrimmage one of the years he was here (1996 maybe?) because of injuries, academic suspensions and transfer losses. I don't think early enrollment was a thing then - if it was, it wasn't a big thing - so there just weren't enough players to field two teams.

You think they would at least have a controlled scrimmage. The fans have come to expect it, and it helps local businesses.
