Mixing drugs and alcohol?
Too much alcohol?
Spiked drinks?

Has this always happened, but now we just know about it because of the internet and social media?
Either way, it’s so sad. Just sad.

Furman lost another student about 10 years ago from alcohol poisoning.

They banned alcohol from campus property after that from what I remember.

Watch Haze, a documentary about Gordie Bailey. It’s shocking. I’m a big drinker but what some of these kids are doing is ridiculous.

You're a big drinker?

Ahhh, never knew that. I live about 5 minutes from Furman - pretty sure it's still "officially" a dry campus.

That's really sad to hear of someone dying at such a young age. My guess would be a combo of pills and alcohol. If that is the case - her body probably had very little tolerance for either

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time

Furman has always, technically, been a dry campus.

If it was at a fraternity party though, it was probably off campus.

She looked a little too much like BJU material

for this to be some kind of overdose. My guess was an aneurysm or some other preexisting condition.

The road goes on forever and the party never ends...
