fan and was looking forward to his US tour which has not been announced yet and will probably be cancelled. Sucks. I think he is probably a weird dude and crossed some major lines. I have not really listened to him, RA&C, or Whiskeytown in a while. I think more people have come out since the article was first published so he is kinda screwed. He may shrink into the background and never be heard from again. He has periodically done that from time to time and recently announced that this US tour might be his last.
Oh well, he is a talented dude.

one way or the other. All his music just seemed kinda "meh" to me like a ripoff of 20 other "meh" guys who came before him.
Its kinda like that Jessie's Mullet guy. For me, its more of a recognition that someone did something stupid, moreso than actually caring about them doing it.
