You know some players want to compete but just can't

100% of the players that come to Clemson want to start. Some get stuck behind a great player and have to live with being a backup. Some drop down farther and really want to work their way back up, but know that no matter how hard they work they don't have want to takes to move back up the depth chart.

We call them coots.

get away from some of the stuff the regular public never hears about....the true underlying reason (in addition, maybe, to the practice field issues) could be academic problems, pregnant girlfriends, sick family members....not saying it is because of any of that, just that occasionally the real reasons wisely don't get made public
