They seem to find one or two highly ranked teams a year and decide to make it close.. although haven't finished the game on them (Louisville 16, Miami 16/17, Notre dame 15 or 16?). Could be the case Saturday with their new dual threat qb

Cavs only chance is if the equipment manager forgets to pack the Turnover Chain .
If they bring it , the only thing left in doubt will be the spelling of Bronco's last name .

I agree. Would end up being a huge upset and would really throw the ACC (outside of Tigertown) into chaos, as though it weren't bad enough already.

Cavs shocked me alright . I would have pickd Miami 10/10 . Their QB looked pretty good and defensively they played a heck f a football game .
Hats off to Bronco .

Consider this.

After some of the most talented players in Mike London's era left (they had some 5-star players), Bronco couldn't recruit half as good as we did during Tommy Bowden's era.

When he catches up with recruiting in Virginia, that team could be a very good one in Coastal.

Kinda curious how good UVA is. Be a half-decent measuring stick, since NC State beat them 35-21 (in Raleigh) in a game that was pretty even statistically.

As I posted a few days back, we really don't have a lot of good measuring sticks on how good NC State really is yet. We know their QB and WR's can play because we saw 'em do it last year...as far as anybody else on that team, we dunno yet. The Wolfies are replacing a TON of starters off last year's squad, especially on the lines and the entire D, actually.

I’m kinda curious how good Miami is. They had to come from behind to beat FSU. They got beat bad by a mediocre LSU team. They have played no other teams worth a crap.

Two chances...

slim and none !!!

We need for Miami to keep winning in order to boost our resume after we wax them again in the ACCCG.

Miami is historically very bad the week after FSU. Bet the Hoos laying the points. Don’t know that they win but should be a close game.

If you’ve seen any stats from the Miami-FSU game, the offenses for both sides were abysmal.

Yes, they can....conference road game....

Oct 11, 2018, 2:35 PM

My guess is that it will be a close game at least until the 4th quarter.
I tend to think Miami is the best team in the Coastal, but there is not as much separation as one would think.
