ACCN showed up on my Directtv guideat 6:00 PM. It shows two 612 only one of which is HD.

Charter Greenville says channel 341 will be available at noon Friday. I hope they don't wait til noon Friday to show next Thursday night's programming!

When the DirecTV guy says it’s in the programming package I currently have then there is a problem.

Except in the metro Atlanta area Direct TV. Channel 612 was on Direct TV here until about 5PM.
We have the ACC Network but you evidently have to pay extra for it on Direct TV in the Metro Atlanta are.

612 says I need to add the channel (PPV). And yes I rebooted. I have the Entertainment Package currently. I thought the idea was you wouldnt need upgraded packages or sports add-ons to get the effing thing. What a joke. Per usual, ACC screws the pooch.

I had to call them. I was on the phone for a freaking hour. They argued with me up and down that I had the package I said if I have it I’d have the channel. So they had to add the sports package now it works. Such a cluster

We saw a couple minutes of Ralph Sampson (who doesn't look that different from 1983) and Christian Laettner (who looks A LOT different from 1993), and then the channel blacked out.
Charter Spectrum in Greenville says the network will be up and running at noon tomorrow. I think in some cases you also have to go through the "add channel" menu for your particular TV. They should have planned to launch August 1 so they'd have things worked out by now.

Just spent an hour on the phone with Spectrum.
Originally told me I needed my channel lineup to be reset.
Then came back and said it would be September 6th before I can get it.
I said other people in my area are getting it now.
He then said they are having some difficulties but are working on it.
What a cluster is correct!!!!??

I was just on the phone for over an hour with Charter Spectrum, who ultimately told me that Sept. 6th date, also. The first person told me it wasn’t part of my package, even though it’s supposed to be, because I’ve had my account for so long. ??
Not sure why I continue to torture myself by keeping them.

So, I have been on hold with Directv support for the last 90 minutes and now on my 3rd service rep.
All have been very nice and try to be accommodating, but they really don't know what is going on with the channel.
I live in Ohio and am not getting the channel to come in on 612. I have rebooted my receiver twice (once before I called, and once after they sent a signal) neither worked. One rep told me I needed a special HD receiver they could sell me for $10/month ?!? just to get the channel! Um no thanks!
The next rep said they have taken lots of calls about people not getting the channel. They will escalate my issue with the channel to an expert in their IT deparment, but don't know when they will fix.
I have now been on with someone from Directv a total of 2 hours and nothing has been accomplished on this or any of my other minor issues with them.
Hopefully I can set my DVR up to record the game next week as I will be out of town. UGH!
