Would Kentucky be a good fit for Feaster?

May 11, 2019, 7:00 AM

I can't remember the name of their featured back last year at Kentucky, but
didn't he move on to the NFL? He was a 25 carry/game guy wasn't he.

That looks like the kind of situation TF needs to me.

I'm sure there are multiple places better for him to improve his chances
to get the carries he wants other than Bama and U5C.

I would love for him to stay at Clemson, but yes, Kentucky may be a good fit. Bennie Snell was their guy last year. They run wild cat with their RB over and over and over and over.

Then they run it some more.

MIght be the best fit I've heard for him yet. Love the idea he replaces Snell, gets primary snaps, and makes it 6 in a row for a different school against UofSC.

I would like to see Feaster stay with the best team in the nation and after this year sign a big contract in the NFL. One thing our players bring to the NFL is that their bodies are still in good shape from the rotation with other players. If he goes to another college team and gets 25-30 carriers a game there is a greater chance of injury.

You are exactly right. Surprised Feaster doesn't see this.

yep - especially how the Jacobs/Harris

May 11, 2019, 6:20 PM

Situation played out at Bama and with the draft. How many times did the analysts bring up the amount to tread Jacobs has left when discussing what a great first round pick that was. TF should save his body for the league - he’ll shine enough this season and at the combine

UK sounds good, but if he wants to play in the NFL, then he should go to tOSU. tOSU puts their players in the NFL even if overrated. Feaster would be a lock for being drafted. He will not get drafted if he goes to UK.

Perhaps Feaster is the one who should decide the best fit for him?

Oh come on now

May 11, 2019, 7:36 AM

This is using logic and common sense

Definitely makes the most sense to use a fan site forum in sports to not have any football topic and just sit back and wait for Feaster to decide. I mean why would anyone frequent a Clemson sports site and want to discuss where one of its players might end up. It’s not like the OP was being negative in any way.

Yep it is just idiotic for us to post our thoughts and opinions on here. These forums are obviously here for some other purpose.

Ben Snell

TF would be a good fit.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Feaster seems more like a power back at his size...

May 11, 2019, 9:22 AM

And Kentucky would run him a-plenty between the tackles.

Being in the SEC would give him tons of exposure. Gaining 100 yards in a game in that conference would be equivalent to gaining 300 yards in an ACC game. ??

Bennie will always be an icon at UK. If Feast Mode can put up similar numbers in one year there, he’ll be a folk hero there. No Bennie or UK basketball player, but he’ll always be fondly remembered as a player that helped the upward trajectory of their program.

Plus he can JoJo Kemp the coots to death...

It wouldn’t be that bad of a fit.

Yeah, cause SECLeast defense .

May 11, 2019, 1:15 PM

44-16. If Feaster wanted a lot of yds on the ground that would not be much of a change from the ACC.

That is the school I said when I first heard about him transferring. Not sure if they have been in touch tho.

At Kentucky, he still is able to 6-bomb UofSCar.

Re: Would Kentucky be a good fit for Feaster?

May 11, 2019, 1:08 PM

Hope he doesn't transfer. But if he does I would think he should try Big 12 where they don't play defense. He can gain a thousand yards+ without getting banged up. If he goes to the chickens or other poor SEC school, he will get beat up each week and maybe lose his chance with NFL.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea, or any team that runs a lot.***

Kentucky had an elite defense last year so they just

May 11, 2019, 7:22 PM

tried to play ball control offense. Their defense is going to take a huge step back in 2019 so they won't have the luxury of just running the ball over and over and really doing nothing on offense like they did last year. They are going to have to open it up and try to score with teams.
