Maybe he wants to come to Clemson which is quickly becoming Transfer U for basketball.

Guess you have not followed CBB closely as ~50% of the players transfer at least once

Elite basketball players are a spoiled bunch of brats,

Most attend 2-3 high schools in 4 years. I stopped watching college basketball after the NCAA made it clear schools like Duke can cheat with no fear of penalties.

Lord forbid they try to maximize their potential and their opportunities.

Many of them start in public schools and get offered scholarships to attend private schools where they have access to more resources, better coaches, better education, more publicity, etc. Why should they refuse that?

For some that is the reason and they attend 2 schools, others attend 3 private schools and then get to college and attend 3 different colleges. Example Clemson currently has a player on the roster who signed with VCU was released from that scholarship and then signed with Texas, then he transferred to Alabama, and now he is at Clemson. In my opinion that shows a lack of maturity, commitment, and discipline. And is he really better off today than if he would have stuck with VCU?

I agree, but the "higher ups" seem to think the kids know best.
