Why does ESPN act like Trevor Lawrence is the entire team?

Does ESPN not realize Clemson has a stellar defense? Trevor Lawrence is not the only great player playing for Clemson. When will ESPN realize Clemson Defense maybe what carries Clemson to a national championship this year

If they talk about Clemson’s defense, then they’ll have to talk about Bamalama’s & LSU’s defense. Since they can’t find Bamalama’s or LSU’s defense.......solution - pretend defense doesn’t exist, our ignorant target audience won’t notice until the very end of the season but by then we’ll already have their money.

Because the rest of the team is playing well, and it doesn't fit their narrative. They have to talk about something bad. All they have is TL interceptions and our schedule. They completely forget we beat the #12 team in week 2.

DW had 13 Int’s his sophomore year and 17 in 2016 when Clemson won the Natty. But you won’t here the ESECPN goobers talk about that.

To those that don't follow Clemson like we do, TL is the only player worth discussing. His INTs are way up vs. last year and his decision-making is questionable.

Besides Isaiah Simmons, who is getting rave reviews in the press, no other individual player on offense or defense has been nearly as noteworthy as TL.

It's very understandable to me.
