Why does CU student gov. regulate not to have block seating?

Oct 9, 2017, 7:53 PM

I have no problem with block seating. It lets friend and organizations sit together. Why does student government have the authority to regulate this? It should be a CU Administration or CUAD decision.

Why should all members of frats be guaranteed tickets over other students. BTW I was in a fraternity and had block sitting. But back then all students were guaranteed tickets and seniors recd tickets near the 40. For better than block seating.

Block seating is a positive thing. Of course students want to sit with friends. Why in the world would they do away with that? And the notion that students don’t pay for tickets is funny. If you have ever written a tuition check you know they charge for that. I midway between two sons and I assure you I pay for that.
