I am mostly the same as you. My only worry is that Tajh and Nuk leave early if he leaves and that we may lose a few recruits. If Tajh and Nuk stay then I think we come out no worse for the wear.

I will mark you as not disappointed if he returns though.

amen and amen, mom always told me no matter how good you are there will always be someone better.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree there is always someone better.

Dec 12, 2012, 12:46 PM

The question is, do we get them?

true. but there is somebody better. i mean cmon, the chad is 0-2 against the cooties and his offense has looked pretty bad in those games. jus sayin.

Absolutely agree....

Won't lose any sleep worrying about things that are beyond my control.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Even if he does stay, better have an eye out for capable

OC's to vet next year, and then go ahead and encourage CM to leave because this crap hurts the recruiting effort. Gets used against us.

Never seen a coach score a TD or kick a FG, make a tackle or block.

Really like CM, but the sun will rise tomorrow as it always has in the East.

Stay vigilant, my friends.

I am asking about if he returns, it seems many comments

Dec 12, 2012, 12:49 PM

are about him leaving. I am basically asking who does not want him to come back?

I agree that we will be ok if he leaves, but I'm not going to be upset if he returns.

Hopefully he'll put a lid on the job hunting until the

end of next season. I'm convinced that the NC State job interview distracted him from the USuC game.

There's something in these hills.

You know that O'Brien wasnt fired til after we played right?

Dec 12, 2012, 12:51 PM

? Many people seem to overlook this fact.

The 6-7 season the yr b4 Chad got here tells me

Dec 12, 2012, 12:53 PM

no one should be disappointed if he returns IMO.

Especially since when this D gets turned around even a little more, we'll be in the NC hunt.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He did come in at the perfect time.

Dec 12, 2012, 1:04 PM

After a year where the offense did not perform. He got Ellington back from injury (missed the last 4 or 5 games in '10), Hopkins a year older, Boyd at QB, and Sammy Watkins. This was a very good situation to come in to. I will still not be disappointed if he returns because he brings a good attitude to the offense.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It is an honor that other schools are interested in Chad.

Dec 12, 2012, 1:04 PM

If he goes, there isn't anything we can do, so we move on. He will not be easily replaced but we will find a capable replacement.

As for those who think Chad is being disloyal, it's a job for him. Fans don't get fired. Coaches do, so you look out for #1. Just do it with class.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

is this the chad that sticks with the run or the

chad that abandons the run and ignores #2?

:)
