What's the over/under on 1st round draft picks on this team?

Dec 17, 2018, 1:31 AM

CW, DL, CF, TL, TH, JR, TM, and XT look to be locks.

Depending on some of the depth chart development, there could easily be 12 1st round draft picks on this team.

And a good many honorable mentions as 2nd rounders.

Is Travis a first round pick?

Either way, this team is loaded, and I see it going down in history as the most NFL talent on a Clemson team.

Just hope it goes down as the best team ever in college football.

Back to the question, I think 12.5 is the over/under.

+1 Smart Post -- Interesting to Speculate

Agree with you 11.5 to 13.5 sounds about right -- lots of talent and some more like AJ Terrell, Derion Kendrick, Justin Mascoll, Jackson Carman, KJ Henry, and possibly Isaiah Simmons with another year all have the pedigree and opportunity -- with lots of dedication and good health, it's within the realm of possibilities. More incl. Booth, Ladson, Jones, Ngata, Constantin, TP, Mellusi, Bentley and Patterson will arrive soon … a good class.

Justin Foster, Kyler McMichael, Amari Rodgers, and more have the opportunity to explode with more experience and P.T.

Not to be nit picky but Amari will not be a first round pick unfortunately. We have seen this show two times in the past two years with Ray Ray and Artavis--NFL teams balk at drafting the 5'9, speedy receiver early in the draft. As far as experience and PT go, I don't think you can include him in the same sentence as Foster and McMichael. He's getting all of that right now.
